To Corey and his mother, Corey, please stay strong , your stories are getting out and that of your fellow soldiers. I am so sorry that our military has chosen this path after putting you in harms way for protecting our country they stab you in the back for following orders. We are all enraged about how they have treated you , our heroes . You and your mother(family) are in my prayers! Please do not give up hope, I am trying to get everyone I know involved. Thank you so much for your service and for putting your life on the line for us, I now gladly stand beside you to support you and hopefully get you out of jail and on with your life. Please do not forget , you are our hero!

I did some reading on Corey, and if it wasn't for a journalist friend working with him and his family to get the "facts" out, I would have never known about his unjust plight. I signed the petition to free him in a heart beat...This is the same foul legal system that so mishandled the OJ trial that he walked away a free man. After that, nothing surprises me. I hope we have the common sense and strength to tell "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" to set this young soldier free. My son is a Marine and just returned home from a combat tour in Afghanistan. As far as I'm concerned, this could have been him.

Corey, I found your website after reading about Army sniper Sgt. Evan Vela. I am outraged that congress, who sits safely in Wash DC, has sent these young men into harm's way, and as their reward for duty and sacrifice, they are imprisoned for scores of years. Justice Dept is giving all rights to foreign, islamic, jihadist terrorists, while our brave soldiers are thrown away in prison. How can all these injustices be reversed?

I am writing to let you know I have not been able to forget that day in Iraq when we were sent to kill and kill we did just for few to be sent to prison. I have not been able to let that day go for last few years. Sine then I have gotten out of the Army and have not looked back but there are certqain things that still haunt me. I do not understand why they would tell us to do something and then punish us for it. I still have nightmares about some stuff we did over there. Today is Christmas I miss you guys so much. Being a civilian is def different than being a soldier. I just wish that we could go back and re play those events and maybe today would be different but we cant. We have to live with the past in order to proceed in the future. But I still cant move out of the past. I remember that day as if it were yesterday. I remember the orders being given and me standing there thinking " What the hell we never have been given orders like this". I am proud of whaty I was and who i was but when you think of all the other things involved you begin to question your past alot. Clagett i remember how you were always joking around and laughing. i being a NCO loved having guys like you around. I just wish you still were. Once Again I will not be looked very higghly upon by writing this. But in long run who really cares what people think. I just say to you my brother hey may have taken your freedom, they may have taken your uniform, they may have taken your youth your career but there are things that they cant touch. And that is hope and faith.

I learned about you son only from the Rick Amato show. You son is a good soldier and it's a great shame what has happened to him. I pray for Cory and spread his story to my neighbors.
